Problem

Small businesses find it hard to concentrate and build website for their products, and all specifics that comes with it from domains to ads. That's why I came up with solving their problem easily, by just uploading your goods pictures and videos you can have an e-commerce site in minutes. Just focus on your products and advertising if you opt out of ours.

Process

This project focuses on building a simple website for small ecommerce businesses that own shops or multiple items, they can upload their items and use the default template or design it a little more as it has been very simplified. The customers payments and other logistics are handled by us after a payment is made. I built this application with Flask for python as backend framework and React.js as frontend framework, I used paystack for payment gateways and processing and godaddy for domain name registration. I first built a frontend bare structure to be able to sketch the structure of the entire application. The backend was then built for authentication, data storage, payment processing, temporary website creation and many more. The frontend was a little complex with features for designing the website to be created, adding images or videos and uploading to cloudinary, dashboard and many more. At the end I was able to bring them together and integrate them before deploying on Heroku.
